Testing the Lamborghini Huracán Supertrofeo Evo by Squadra Corse, updated for the season 2018 during the Supertrofeo Word Final in November 2017 at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari Imola.

Unfortunately I had to follow a Huracán Performante pacecar, equipped with street legal tires. Furtunately it was Marco Mapelli behind the wheel, two times Nordschleife record-holder and Lamborghini works-/development-driver. Although he squeezed the last bit out of the car it was easy to follow him and sometimes I had to lift the throttle. Especially on the brakes and through corners the weight-reduced racecar with special-aero and slick-tires is superior. At the corner-exits the four-wheel-drive-performante has a little advantage of traction.

Nevertheless it was a great experience. The car is very easy to handle, gives you a brilliant feedback. It's a good GT-racer to learn with what racing is about and a meaningful preparation for higher race-classes like GT3.
