Update: It was cylinder scoring - especially on #5. Your can read more here: https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-cayenne-forum/1031591-2008-cayenne-4-8l-clacking-ticking.html The car has 120.000 miles on it. It has correct spark plugs (Porsche OEM # 999 170 122 90 / BOSCH FGR5NQE04). All coils firing. Start and idle fine, cold as warm. Slight hesitation/rough running when setting of from red light warm engine - but not much. Full power available with no issues. No codes stored. Fresh oil service Mobil1 full synthetic 0W40 as per OEM. I suspect as stuck exhaust hydraulic lifter, or some variocam issues. Will update on findings over the next months. Suggestions wellcome. I am very aware of cylinder scoreing, but the engine does not produce these symptoms. It was indeed cylinder scoring..... test confirmed.
