top 10 biggest animals and creatures that will scare you Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org Compared to the size of the Earth, humans are pretty darn small. It’s just a fact of life that we already know, but we don’t necessarily “see” it until we are next to something so much bigger than us. Regardless of whether you believe in a creator, in evolution, or both, humans and animals were created to be a certain size for a reason. So when we encounter a creature that is so large that it shocks you to the core, the world definitely takes notice. When it’s an animal that is supposed to be smaller, it’s even more shocking. Scientists then desperately want to intervene and they want to know more about how this animal could have grown to such large proportions. Was it because of genetics? Nuclear waster? An anomaly in the animal kingdom? These creatures certainly prove that we still have a lot to learn about the world around us. In this video are ten shockingly large creatures that actually exist. From creatures that were meant to be small, to creatures that are out of this world in their size, we have to wonder whether or not bigger is always better? Some of these creatures were intentionally modified to grow to their incredible size while others have genetics and Mother Nature to thank! You could even consider some of these creatures as additional wonders to the world. While we would like to think that we know everything about the world around us, we have only skimmed the surface. 10 Abnormally Large Dogs In The World ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/gYLyzW For copyright matters please contact us at: email@example.com 10 Largest Dogs Ever You Won’t Believe Exist Some breeds of dogs have been around since ancient times. Most dogs are bred for a lot of different things, from protecting livestock, and protecting their owners, to being faithful and loyal companions. But in order for a dog to be protective, it’s should be bred with the size it needs to be effective. Join us as we take a look at 10 of the largest dogs ever. 1. Hulk, the Pit Bull – The name ‘Hulk’ fits this pit bull dog perfectly because he is a giant 175lbs, and stands on his hind legs almost 5 feet tall. And while he might seem big and scary, his owners say that he is very gentle and is even trusted around their young son. 2. Freddy, the Great Dane - It's probably no surprise to many that the Great Dane is one of the largest breeds of dog in the world, but Freddy takes the breed to a whole new level of big. He stands 7ft 6 inches on his hind legs, 2 feet taller than his owner, and weighs 200lbs! 3. Zorba, the English Mastiff – This English Mastiff was a legend when it comes to some of the world’s biggest dogs. You may know that when it comes to the combination of weight and height, nothing can beat this breed of canine. Many Mastiffs average up to 190 pounds, but it's not unusual for these giants to weigh around 225 pounds at full maturity. 4. CH Samson, the Neapolitan Mastiff – This breed of Mastiff, called ‘Mastino Napolitano’ is actually an ancient dog breed, and that might explain the size of this rare dog. CH Samson was one of the largest and heaviest Mastiffs and weighed a whopping 225 pounds at just two and a half years old. 5. Zeus the Great Dane - Zeus, who lived in Otsego, Michigan, was named the world's tallest dog by the Guinness World Records in 2012. He measured an incredible 44 inches from his feet to the middle of his shoulder blades. 6. Newfoundland - Unlike many larger breeds, the Newfoundland wasn't bred to be a guard dog. Instead, it was bred to help fishermen. These big, muscular dogs are able to haul nets and lines from boats, pull carts and, most importantly, fetch anything that falls overboard into the water, including people. 7. The Irish Wolfhound - Like the Scottish deerhound, the Irish wolfhound, as its name implies, was bred to chase down wolves. Developed from war hounds into a dog that was used for hunting and guarding, the Irish wolfhound is ancient breed of canine, and may have been brought to Ireland as far back as 7000 B.C. 8. Leonberger – This large breed of dog began as a mix between a Newfoundland and a Saint Bernard. In the mid-1840s, Heinrich Essig of Leonberg, Germany, crossed a Newfoundland with a Saint Bernard for four generations, then added in a Pyrenean Mountain Dog to the mix. 9. Caucasian Shepherd – This big dog was bred to do one thing only, and that is to protect sheep from wolves, and any other predator that dares attack a shepherd’s flock. However, these dogs can and have been used to protect other livestock. 10. The Anatolian Shepherd – This canine was bred to be a shepherd’s companion and livestock guardian. The interesting thing about them is that they were bred for their size and color so that they matched the livestock that they were protecting.
5 Horses You Wont Believe Exist! Description: History tells us that horses have been a source and sign of wealth and power for its owners. Things are not so different today. There’s even a unit of measurement called ‘the horsepower’. Horses are still a marvelous luxury that the human race cannot just get enough of. But who’d blame us. They come with an air of sophistication combined with gentleness that is rarely found among other animals. Within this countdown, Top 5’s Finest has selected for you 5 Horses You Won't Believe Actually Exist! Ready? Well, lets begin! 1. Curly Horse The curly horse comes in all shapes, sizes and colors but what you will really appreciate about it is its unique gene for a unique curly coat of hair. The horses are mostly chestnut colored but variations exist from black to those with appaloosa markings. They are known for their intelligent and friendly personality which makes them easily trainable. If you are a beginning rider, this is the best horse to go for as it has a tough constitution and great stamina. They enjoy being around people and are typically not flighty. Another good thing is that most people allergic to horses can handle curly horses without suffering an allergic reaction. 2. Falabella Pony Hailing from Argentina, a full-grown Fallabella will reach a height of between 71cm and 86cm. It has a small and compact body with pony-like features such as a sturdy backbone and a thicker hair coat around the mane, tail and fetlocks. You can differentiate it from a normal sized horse by its larger head and stouter neck. Most Fallabellas are considered to be easily trainable. Because of their size, they can be ridden by children. They are mostly used in-hand at horse shows and are excellent guide animals. 3. Gypsy Horse This horse mainly gets its name from an association by the Pavee and Roma of Britain and Ireland. Also, known as Gypsy Cob or Tinker Horse, it may come piebald or solid in color. Several breed societies exist for this horse with minor variations. ‘Feather’ long hair often starts forming below the knee of the front legs and the hock of the hind legs, running down the leg to flow over the front and back of the hooves. Silky straight hair and ‘feather’ are most desirable by buyers and breeders. You can differentiate gypsy horses from any other horse by its straight head and strong muscular neck. Its hindquarters are quite something so I’d warn you against standing behind it. 4. Marwari Horse This is quite a rare horse breed form the Marwari region of India. Look out for its inward turning ear tips. It comes in all equine colors but pinto colors-like the pinto horse- is the most common among breeders and buyers. The white version of the Marwari is specifically bred for religious purposes in India. Black horses are considered unlucky as they symbolize death and darkness. The Marwari is often used for show, horse safaris, spot, ceremonial and religious purposes. Though indigenous to the country, cavalry units of the Indian Military don’t use them as often. They are often used to play polo and in dressage because of their natural tendency to perform. 5. Friesian Horse They may look huge, but this horse is so graceful and nimble. During the Middle Ages, their size helped them carry a knight in armor. Today, the horse is used in harness, under saddle and, most recently, in dressage. In harness, they are used for competitive and recreational driving. This horse is also used in ventures of pulling assorted vintage carriages at ceremonial events. The horse breed originates from Friesland in Netherlands. Most of them come in black but it is not unusual to find chestnut ones with others carrying the red gene. It has a long, thick mane and a tail with wavy and long silky hair on the lower legs. Their color and striking appearance makes them popular in movies and television. Many things are done in the name of science. There is a need to advance our technology, in order to provide food for a growing world population, or to provide medicine and cures for sickness and disease. From see through animals, to clones, and even one wild and crazy idea, take a look at our list of 10 Animals Created by Science.
10. See Through Frog - Frogs come in nearly every color - from the dull greens, to the vivid yellows and reds of their tropical relatives. Some frogs are even transparent and you can see right through them, which is probably what gave Japanese scientists the idea to create a see through frog by bringing together genes from frogs with unusually pale skin. In these frogs their skin is see through in their early lives. What does this mean?
9. Enviropig – This might be a little bit gross but the Enviropig was genetically engineered to produce up to less than 65% phosphorous through its urine and feces. Environmentally, pigs are very destructive to the land they are raised on.
8. Killer Bees – You might be thinking that killer bees are a natural species. But, what is little known about these creatures is that they were accidently created by scientists who were trying to increase honey production, and instead ended up with a killer bee.
7. Super Cows – The Belgian Supercow is known as somewhat a mutant breed of cattle. It’s originas date back to the 1800’s when Belgian scientists and farmers decided to breed native cattle with Shorthorn cattle.
6. Genpets – OK so this isn’t a real animal created by scientists, but Genpets needs to be in this list and is probably one of the greatest hoaxes in modern history.
5. Sterile Pink Bollworm – The Pink Bollworm is a serious pest when it comes to cotton farming. Not only do the young larvae inflict damage to the cotton plant by their feeding, they chew through the cotton lint to feed on the seeds.
4. GloFish – At first it might not seem like these fish are real, but they are. Glofish are a brand of genetically engineered fluorescent fish.
3. See-Through Goldfish – There are a lot of reasons to genetically engineer creatures such as see through rats, see through frogs, and even see through goldfish.
2. Dolly the Sheep – On July 5th 1996, Dolly the Sheep made biotech history when she became the first animal cloned from adult somatic cells.
1. Pharmaceutical Camels – Many people might not know this but camels milk can be used to produce pharmaceutical proteins used in drugs. And by creating genetically modified camels, it’s a real inexpensive way to produce it.
