The official video about Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg, the largest model railway in the world, and one of the most successful tourist attractions in Germany. On the 1.300 m² large layout, far more than a thousand trains, aircrafts, cars and ships move about. A wonder of the world in miniature. Built in 1974 in a Minimalist and Brutalist style, Sofia Central Rail Station is totally amazing station. Bright, clean, uncluttered, and sleek in design, I give the train station 2 Thumbs-up. This is the standard that train stations should be built to. Come along as we enter into and tour the Train Station Hall and then check-out different trains at the station. We see different classes of trains, locomotives, and station platform. We will also check-out the dining locations at the station.

Motive power is provided by a separate locomotive or individual motors in self-propelled multiple units. Although historically steam propulsion dominated, the most common modern forms are diesel and electric locomotives, the latter supplied by overhead wires or additional rails. Other energy sources include horses, engine or water-driven rope or wire winch, gravity, pneumatics, batteries, and gas turbines. Train tracks usually consist of two running rails, sometimes supplemented by additional rails such as electric conducting rails and rack rails, with a limited number of monorails and maglev guideways in the mix. This is a clip from the NRK TV-program "Bergensbanen Minutt for Minutt", that shows the train-ride through beautiful Norwegian landscape. Finse is the highest station on the Norwegian railway system at 1222 meters above sea level. Recorded August 22, 2011: My journey up Mount Pilatus begins on a gondola and then transfers to an aerial cable car for the remainder of the climb to the 6982 foot summit. On top there are nice view of Lake Lucerne. I took the steepest cogwheel railway down the mountain and then returned to the city of Lucerne by boat.
