Porsche is celebrating 70 years strong with these classic liveries for the 2018 Le Man 24hr race in a couple of weeks! The #91 and #92 have been re-skinned in the Rothamans and Pink Pig liveries respectively. This is also the first double time-lapse I've done. There are several versions of these in the game from other users, but mine can be found using these hash tags and they were uploaded on 6/5/18 Rothmans: #porsche #rothmans #lemans Pink Pig: #porsche #pinkpig #lemans
Mercedes has a lot of sweet new toys to play with right now, from the new G-Wagen to the AMG GT four-door, but it hasn't forgotten about its other toys, including one of its oldest. It announced some minor updates for its SLC-Class roadster for 2019, a car that hasn't seen a complete redesign since 2012. The standard SLC300 gets some new standalone options, such as ambient lighting, blind spot monitoring, and an analog dash clock, but the SLC43 gets the good stuff. It gets a power boost. The 2019 Mercedes-AMG SLC43 now makes 385 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged V6. That's an increase of 23 horsepower over last year's model. This also helps bring it closer to the old V8-powered version. No torque changes were mentioned, so the engine likely still makes 384 pound-feet of torque or thereabouts. In addition to the healthy power boost, the SLC43 also gets standard dual-zone automatic climate control and LED headlights with adaptive high beams. Pricing for the little Mercedes roadster has not been announced. Odds are that the pricing won't change much from the $49,395 for the SLC300 and $62,345 for the SLC43. Availability hasn't been revealed either. But it's safe to say the updated models will appear on lots by the end of the year.Automotive Cars News, mercedes, amg, slc, 2019, cars, roadster, 43, car, review, interior, slk, biturbo, g63, suv, drive, sound, benz, mercedes slc, 2018, mercedes slc updated for 2018, update, mercedes-benz, test drive, v6, mercedes benz, new, convertible, automobile, premiere, gt, como, funny, scoope, truck, launch, 4x4, sport, carros, youtube, autos

The elusive 2020 Cadillac CT5 luxury sports sedan has once again been spotted by a spy photographer. This time, we get to see it from all angles, whereas last time we only saw it from the front. It still has quite a bit of fake body work, and it's very clear Cadillac still hopes you'll think this is a Charger, from the big hood scoop to the fake full-width taillights. Digging past those misdirects, we can find some new details about the car. First, the car's front lighting has developed further. There are production-ready headlights fitted that appear to have some sort of LED illumination. These production lights also fit the shape we saw on the last prototype, so they'll end high up on the body, extending slightly horizontally toward the grille. There's still a section that extends back along the fender, seeming to bridge the gap between current Cadillacs and the Escala concept from which this car takes inspiration. Another addition are the vertical LED accent lights. This is another trademark feature of both current Cadillacs and the Escala, but they were absent from the last prototype we saw. We also get a look at some of the grille's details. Instead of slats, this CT5 has a plastic mesh of small rectangles. The pattern is reminiscent of brickwork. These photos also give us our first look at the back of the CT5. It looks like a fairly typical Cadillac. It's much more conservative than the front end. There are some angular cutouts in the bumper to allow exhaust gases out. The taillights have the current Cadillac look with the top curving over the rear fender. We can't tell if there will be a horizontal element like on the Escala, due to the fake lights. We're expecting the CT5 to be shown sometime next year in time for the 2020 model year. Odds are it will use off-the-shelf Cadillac engines including the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6, and the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6. Now that Cadillac has revealed its twin-turbo 4.2-liter V8, we'll be interested to see if that shows up in a future CT5-V.Automotive Cars News, cadillac ct5, cadillac, 2020 cadillac ct5, cadillac ct5 coupe, 2020 cadillac, cadillac ct5 review, cadillac ct5 2020, cadillac xt5, cadillac ct5 2017, 2019 cadillac ct5, cadillac ct5 commercial, carengine, 2019 cadillac, cadillac ct5 2018, 2020 cadillac escala suv, cadillac ct5 2016, 2020 cadillac escalade, car news, 2020 cadillac escala, cadillac escala, cadillac ct5 2019, cadillac ct5 spy shots, spy shots, auto car magz, 2020, 2020 escala, 2020 cadillac xt5 spied, top auto news, cadillac ct5 release date, spy, xt5, acrmagz, exterior, autocarmagz, suv, review, cadillac ct5 price, new, 2019 cadillac ct6, cadillac escalade esv
Long-time fans of Porsche, particularly its motorsports history, are in for a treat at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans. The company took two of its 911 RSR race cars and gave each of them a famous color scheme from the past. The designs are part of the company's 70th anniversary celebration.
The first and most unusual paint scheme is a modern rendition of the "Pink Pig." The design was used on a Porsche 917/20 in 1971. Just like the original, it's finished in a pale shade of pink with dotted lines marking out sections of the car. Each of these sections has a label for a different cut of meat from a pig.
The other livery isn't as strange, but it's no less recognizable. It features a blue, red and gold color scheme of tobacco company Rothmans. Rothmans was a sponsor of many racing Porsches over the years, and the colors appeared on everything from Le Mans racers to the Paris-Dakar 959. This version on the 911 RSR notably lacks any tobacco branding or advertising.
The two 911s with the retro colors will be competing alongside 8 additional 911s with more modern liveries. They will compete in the GTE classes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.Automotive Cars News,Porsche 911, Porsche, Porsche 911 RSR, Livery, porsche 911 gt3 rs,TagsLe Mans, Motorsport, Porsche, Porsche 911, Porsche Videos, Racing, Video,Life Car, Car, Car TV, Life Car TV, porsche, therell, 911, mans, won, le, number, car, pig, liveries, appearance, pink, livery, decked, thowback, rsrs,
