Following the confirmed launch of the coupé in June, the DBS Superleggera Volante, which has just been spotted testing for the first time, will arrive in early 2019 to create a pair of high-performance successors to the current Vanquish and Vanquish Volante. Power for the DBS Superleggera will come from a significantly enhanced version of the DB11's turbocharged 5.2-litre V12. The current Vanquish S uses a 6.0-litre V12 unit with 595bhp, suggesting the DBS Superleggera's boosted unit could offer in excess of 700bhp.
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera to Pack 700+ HP 5.2L Twin-Turbo V12 ====================================================== The next new Aston Martin to arrive will be the 700+ horsepower DBS Superleggera, the automaker has confirmed. A mysterious Aston Martin DB11-based prototype has been photographed at the Nurburgring and on public roads in recent months. It was previously believed to be the new Aston Martin Vanquish, but as the automaker revealed to Autocar, the prototype is actually for the new DBS Superleggera. Serving as a successor to the performance-focused DBS, the DBS Superleggera will place an emphasis on lightness and handling. That doesn’t mean it won’t be powerful, though. Rumors indicate it will make more than 700 hp from a dolled-up version of the DB11’s twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12. That would place it squarely in the crosshairs of the 789 hp Ferrari 812 Superfast – some pretty serious company, to be sure. ====================================================== Thanks For Watching This Channel, Please Help Us To Be Better. --- Subscribe This Channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCppsDiqYRI6AAP_jBvxt2Jg?sub_confirmation=1 --- Follow Me On G+ : https://plus.google.com/117354035945436090507 #NewCarGallery MyChannel
SUBSCRIBE: https://goo.gl/m1reYn With the Porsche Macan based on the previous generation of the Audi Q5 (the new generation of the Ingolstadt crossover is already out there, remember?), the Zuffenhausen SUV is starting to show is age. Nevertheless, Porsche is almost ready to introduce the mid-cycle revamp of the vehicle and we can now bring you fresh spy footage of the machine. The 2019 Porsche Macan has been spied doing its thing in traffic close to the Stuttgart automaker's headquarters, with the prototype still being covered in heavy camouflage. For instance, the camo on the car doesn't allow us to notice the light bar that will connect the taillights, bringing the Macan in line with the rest of the Porsche lineup. Nevertheless, we've added a previous serious of spyshots to the image galley above (the green car), with this showcasing the production face of the German machine. As for the cabin, another batch of spyshots surprised us when it revealed that the touch-sensitive control found on the new Panamera and Cayenne were missing from the Macan. However, we could still see the production model going through this transformation. Even so, the instrument cluster of the newcomer will house a pair of 7.0-inch displays, while a 12.3-inch unit will serve as an infotainment screen. Under the hood, the turbocharged 3.0-liter and 3.6-liter V6 motor will make room for 2.9-liter and 3.0-liter V6 engines, which will bring advances regarding both power and efficiency. It's worth noting that the rumor mill talks about a new hybrid range-topper, with the newcomer expected to borrow the 462 hp gas-electric setup that recently made its debut on the 2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid. And while Porsche discontinued diesel-animated Macans earlier this year, following the Dieselgate scandal, these could make a comeback for the facelifted version of the model. You can expect to meet the 2019 Porsche Macan in September, at the Paris Motor Show. Please contact this email if you have any copyright issues: email@example.com
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Spied Testing its Aggressive Styling ====================================================== Aston Martin is hard at work developing the replacement for the Vanquish. The British automaker has already confirmed the Vanquish’s replacement will be the DBS Superleggera, with the two-seater sports car set to to arrive in the second quarter of this year. Ever since the Vanquish’s original launch in 2001, Aston Martin has alternated between the Vanquish and DBS nameplates for its range-topping supercar, and this generation will be no different. As expected, a Volante convertible variant will be part of the lineup, which is evident by the prototype spied testing by our photographers.
The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato continues a long relationship that has created some of the most beautiful and exclusive cars that the world has ever seen. The latest collaboration comes in the form of the Vanquish Zagato, based on Aston Martin's Vanquish with a 6 litre V12 producing 600 horsepower and a build run of just 99 Coupes and 99 convertible Volantes. Is it not one of the most beautiful cars you have ever seen? With a huge thanks to the owner of the car, I headed to Germany to take it for a drive and experience the feeling that comes from driving such a work of art. Combine the coachbuilt carbon fibre bodywork with the glorious sound from the engine and you have a marvelous package. With less than a month to go before the official unveiling, it appears that the 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera has been spied in Volante convertible form.HOT NEWS 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante breaks cover Automotive Cars News
The car is very clearly related to the DB11 GT sports car currently available, but with a number of updates. It should also be lighter (hence the Superleggera name) and more powerful.
The most notable exterior change is in the front fascia, particularly the main grille. The traditional Aston grille shape has been stretched downward in the style of the Rapide and the Vantage AMR Pro. It also ditches the classic slats for an aggressive black mesh. Flanking the grille are two large air inlets that surely provide more cooling to the engine.HOT NEWS 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante breaks cover Automotive Cars News Their positioning would be ideal for brake cooling, too.
On the hood, the new DBS Superleggera gets two large vents right in the middle. Based on a teaser image, there will be Superleggera badging in a classical script next to the vents. The hood also has a bit of a raised dome down the middle.
Moving around to the side, the car is basically unchanged save for deeper side skirts. The rear also lacks much in the way of changes. It has sprouted an additional pair of exhaust tips. Interestingly, each side has a small tip and a large one. We're not sure if this is a stop-gap measure for the prototype, or if the different-sized tips will be a production feature.
When the car is revealed in June, it will come with a version of the twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 found in the DB11. It will almost certainly have more power than existing DB11 models, meaning it will have more than the 630 horsepower of the DB11 AMR. Rumors have even indicated as much as 700 horsepower. With the Superleggera name, it will likely be lighter than existing DB11s, too. And of course, expect a price above other DB11s.Automotive Cars News,News, 2019 Aston Martin, Aston Martin DBS, Martin DBS Superleggera, DBS Superleggera Volante, Superleggera Volante breaks, aston martin, 2019 aston martin vantage, 2019 aston martin, aston martin vantage, 2018 aston martin vantage, 2019 aston martin db11, 2019 aston martin db11 volante, autonews, supercars,
