Once you sit inside and experience the MX-5's exciting potential, you'll understand a pure feeling of driving pleasure. Not to mention the Mazda MX-5 RF. The Mazda MX-5 RF features a retractable hardtop that has been beautifully crafted using the flowing KODO: Soul of Motion design theme. It’s the very best of both open and closed top driving.

2018 Mazda MX-5 Club – Is The Answer Still Miata?

For nearly 30 years, Mazda has been building the Miata sports car. It quickly built a loyal cult following for being the perfect starter car for the gear head looking to get into racing. With its low weight, balanced chassis, and visceral feel, it quickly reminded you why you fell in love with driving in the first place. When the ND made its debut in 2015, everything that we disliked about the old model was addressed. Three years later, do we still feel the same way about this cheeky little convertible? **Update, rumors about the power increase for 2019 have been confirmed for the Japanese market, and the MX-5 Miata will make 26 MORE hp and rev to 7,500 RPM** Be on the lookout for Mazda to make an official debut in America soon.

NEWS!!!NEWS!!! 2019 Mazda MX 5 Release Date and Price

2019 Mazda MX 5 Release Date and Price Even though the current 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata makes only 155 horsepower, our experience has shown that it's more than enough fun with its modest output. Still, if Mazda were to offer more, we wouldn't turn it down, and it appears that's exactly what will happen for the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Road & Track dug up a VIN filing from Mazda to NHTSA with information about the Miata for that model year. On one of the pages, it states that the 2019 Miata will have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 181 net brake horsepower. That's a pretty big jump from 155 horsepower, nearly matching the larger 2.5-liter engine in the Mazda3 and Mazda6. It's also close in power to the estimates for the Skyactiv-X spark-controlled compression-ignition engine. But, based on what a journalist on Twitter posted, the 2019 Miata will continue to use a version of the existing spark-ignition Skyactiv-G engine. Apparently it will have a new cylinder head, be able to rev higher, and make more horsepower, though he didn't say how much more. New Mazda MX-5: 184hp, 7500 rounds| | Review Car

With free reign to rework the current Mazda MX-5, what would you change? A difficult one, really, because it does such a good job of nailing its lightweight roadster brief. That said, a bit less body roll might be nice, as would more adjustment in the driving position, particularly for taller drivers. And nobody is going to turn down extra power, are they? With the 'ND' fourth-gen car having been on sale for more than three years now, an MX-5 facelift isn't far off. For Japan that car is already...
