7 Worst Places to Have a Fight in Fighting Game History

From Dracula's Castle to a tomato-throwing festival to actual literal hell, these non-regulation battle arenas are fraught with risks, inconveniences and garment-ruining tomato juice. Think before you take your fight outside of a standard competition ring, and subscribe to Outside Xbox for more videos like this one every week. If you or I were to suddenly find ourselves in hell - that is, a, physical manifestation of the concept of an afterlife where the wicked are punished for all eternity - then we’d probably turn around and try heading back to Earth, possibly to set up a few orphanages when we got back, just to be safe. Not so the mortal kombatants of Mortal Kombat, who, from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 onwards, are happy to have their fights in a place where the doors are made of skulls, the interior decoration theme is ‘tortured skeletons’, and everything that isn’t bones is covered in molten lava. Dracula’s Castle is another obviously unwise location for a bout, but apparently the cast of Super Smash Bros Ultimate didn't realise, because thanks to the Castlevania games, the whole gang is heading to Dracula’s house to have a dust-up. The architecture itself, with its spooky stained glass and creepy carvings, already screams "stay away". But then there’s the fact the place is full of mummies, gorgons, Frankensteins, crying mask faces, actual Death himself and werewolves flinging themselves through the windows. This can hardly be conducive to the kind of focus you require for a world-class fight. And is also terrifying. What’s more Dracula is there, the place being his home, and isn’t super keen to see you. So much for that famous Transylvanian hospitality. #fightinggames #outsidexbox #7things --- Outside Xbox brings you daily videos about videogames, especially Xbox One games and Xbox 360 games. 6 Fallout Vaults That Drove Everyone Super Crazy, Surprise

The Vaults in the Fallout series have a sinister secondary purpose: they're social experiments on a captive population. Here are the six most twisted Vaults from the Fallout games. Subscribe! http://tinyurl.com/SubToOxbox The Vaults in the Fallout series are secretly experiments sponsored by the government and Vault-Tec to see how people react to different situations in a controlled environment. If they were meant to prove that doing crazy experiments on people makes them crazy, then congratulations all round. Especially in the case of these six Vaults of dubious scientific merit. Take Vault 11 as an example. After the door closed, the inhabitants were told by their overseer that they would have to sacrifice one of their fellow Vault dwellers each year or everyone would die. Thanks for that, overseer! Guess who was the first sacrifice? After this, whoever held the position of overseer was always the one chosen for sacrifice, so elections for overseer became ruthless, cutthroat affairs which eventually lead to blackmail, murder and finally civil war that killed all but five inhabitants of the Vault. It also turns out the Vault 11 experiment was actually to test morality against self-preservation. All the Vault dwellers needed to do was to refuse to sacrifice anyone and the whole thing would be over. Dick move, Vault-Tec. Still, at least those five people survived unharmed and uncrazy, right? Actually, four of them shot themselves out of shame. Good work, everyone. --- Outside Xbox brings you daily videos about Xbox 360 games and Xbox One games. 7 Cheaty Bosses Who Didn't Fight Fair: Commenter Edition

We recently recalled cheaty videogame bosses, who used tactics such as deleting your save file, learning from their mistakes, or being from Bloodborne. The comments on that video revealed you had suffered similarly unjust encounters, so here are yet more times you folks were bested by a bent boss. 8 Embarrassing Game Overs We Caused By Being Dumb

There’s no shame in getting a game over from losing a tough battle, or failing to complete a puzzle in time. There is, however, a lot of shame in getting one of these embarrassing game overs, where we managed to lose the game through stupidity, ineptitude or on one memorable occasion, pissing off a powerful vampire. We recently toured the very worst places to have a fight in fighting game history, but it turns out we were only scratching the surface, because fighting game characters really will fight in any terrible place. Here are yet more places we’d fight to not to have a fight in. Subscribe for more videos like this!

From a womb containing Darkstalkers' Fetus of God, ew, to Tekken 7's Devil's Pit, to an actual active war zone packed with crashing helicopters in Dead or Alive 5, the evidence continues to prove there is no dangerous location to which these fighters won't take a fighting tournament bout.
