A spoiler-free look at every game in the Persona series. If you like this video check out some of my other stuff! Persona 1 Analysis: https://youtu.be/d-4LM5ULncs A complete overview of the entire Persona series starting with the original "Revelations Persona" in 1996 and ending with the recently released (not when this video was made) Persona 5. For a informative look at the localization of the first Persona game be sure to check out the video I did on it (Link above).
'They should remake Persona 3!' we hear people say, it is time to tell you why this is an awful idea. There are a million things that can go wrong with this ranging from the lack of FEMC stuff, a new and stupid character, nonsense events that are added and the simple fact that the Persona 3 remake of peoples dreams isnt economically feasible. Come tweet me why not; @fitherfith

Published on September 20th, 2016 - the exact day of Persona's 20th birthday. As the majority of YouTube users are English speakers, I used mostly the western releases for the video. That allowed for English text in P1's opening. Original P2 Innocent Sin's opening is from a fan-made English hack, as the original version of Innocent Sin was never released outside of Japan. I also elected to use the actual original PlayStation openings of Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment rather than the wide screen versions included as part of the PSP re-releases, as those openings were originally meant to be viewed in 4:3. Note that I've used the Japanese titles in the description. Fun fact: the idea that Persona "dropped" the Shin Megami Tensei tagline starting with Persona 4 Golden is a western myth. The term "Shin Megami Tensei" (真・女神転生) was never printed on any Persona game released in Japan. It wasn't until P3 that Atlus USA slapped that onto the western release boxes and kept it there for P3FES, P4, P3P, P1 PSP, and P2:IS PSP. If you're wondering about the first game's title, "Megami Ibunroku" (女神異聞録), it translates as "Revelations" - the tagline used for the North American release. For the record, P2 Eternal Punishment PSP is my favorite opening and the hands down best of all-time. Official Site: http://killscottkill.com/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/KillScottKill
