Serious Sam is an old-school style shooter featuring an unrelenting horde trying to kill the snarky yet capable "Serious" Sam Stone. Fast paced with gore galore. But how good is it?
In this review, I take a look at the third Serious Sam game... which is a prequel to the first one. Borderlands 2 Krieg Build (Designed primarily for flesh targets) Excerpt: So there isn't much known about him, but we do know he escaped from a lab beneath Pandora & wants to get revenge on bandits and Hyperion, but has an inner voice telling him to help & protect to weak and righteous. Another interesting fold is how this inner voice tells Krieg if he disobeys and kills an innocent, the inner voice'll take over and basically kill them both. I'd love to see some more story on him and the other vault hunters...but it's looking like that might be something for Borderlands 3..if that's even in cards of course. But anyways enough of that, lets get on with the show! Krieg, the spiritual successor to brick is the long-awaited Brute-force character and specializes in Melee, fire damage, and explosions. This specific build focuses on Melee & fire damage. Now I want to warn you and make this clear right now: I didn't go looking for the ABSOLUTE best gear because I know majority of you probably don't have it yet, so some of the gear might be a bit average, but to be completely honest, it's not important as you'll see the build handles all the heavy lifting. Some of the items are indeed scaled, but I can assure you it's only for the sake of the video to show you the extent of Krieg's power. The build is really flexible with gear too so feel free to use other things to suit yourself. No problems there. Anyways, moving on yet again, just like with many of my builds, I like things feeding into each other and the healing in this build feeds off damage and damage feeds off of elemental fire damage and the Bad-ass psycho mutant form, supplying oodles more damage, and thus oodles of healing, fully restoring health after a kill and going into Badass mode. What's more is the build constantly has damage resistance up so you won't go down without a fight. Again, thanks for watching you all, I really appreciate it. Bioshock is pretty, System Shock is intelligent. Feedback from knowledgeable fans of both games would be appreciated. Let me know with which points you disagree :) Exceedingly tired at the moment, so excuse the jumbled argumentation. Thanks to Google image search.
I love Skyrim, but trying to enact change is like getting blood from a stone. This video glances at the 6 main quest-lines within the game and nags them a bit. Spoilers are kept to a minimum, I hope. Some of the visuals represent important places, but you'd need prior knowledge to spot their relevance :) I'm truly sorry for murdering the Abba song. It's almost 5am.
Croteam have nailed the formula, and favourably returned to the more serious roots of the first encoutners rather than paying any attention to the 'wackiness' of Serious Sam 2. I wish I was more excited about it though. It could be my mood. December is always miserable. YAY!
Please suggest how the Serious Sam formula could evolve in a way which leaves the gameplay untouched!
Next up: Either Trine 2, or a review of Skyrim quest-lines. Or Terraria 1.1.
