How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Review. The redesigned 2019 Santa Fe should be a smart pick for a five-passenger crossover SUV. First, we need to start off with a public service announcement: The naming of the redesigned 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe might throw you off. The previous-generation Santa Fe (2013-2018) was a three-row crossover SUV, but the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe model is now a two-row and is essentially the redesign of last year's two-row Santa Fe Sport. A three-row model called the Santa Fe XL will come out later. Got it? Great. Now the question is: How good is this new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe ? We like that the Santa Fe is a bit wider and longer than outgoing Santa Fe Sport. It's more spacious on the inside, an area where it already excelled. Hyundai also improved the look and feel of the cabin. For standard equipment, the new Santa Fe gets smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) and Hyundai's attractive 7-inch touchscreen. What's more, safety features such as blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a drowsy driving warning system, and Hyundai's Safe Exit Assist — which will temporarily prevent your door from opening if a vehicle is approaching from behind — all come as standard. Alas, one thing we weren't overly keen on the Sport is still hanging around: the standard 2.4-liter engine. Power output is unchanged at 185 horsepower, and fuel economy is lackluster. Hyundai has paired it to an eight-speed automatic transmission for 2019, though, rather than last year's six-speed. The change should slightly improve acceleration and fuel economy. Hyundai is also offering a more powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder (235 hp) or a 2.2-liter diesel. The latter won't be available until later in the model year, and it should provide the best fuel economy of the lineup. Despite the probable confusion with its name change, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe seems to have a lot of potential. It's a well-equipped crossover with lots of modern tech and plenty of space for your family. If you're looking for a good value in the two-row crossover segment, it's a vehicle you'll want on your short list. The Top Gear auto review:Hyundai Kona
£16,530 – £36,240
Proceed on the off chance that you like its look. On the off chance that you don't, unlimited adversaries are about as great.
Refined, and it handles superior to anything it entirely needs to
Gets costly, looks bizarre. Yet, you may that way, mightn't you?
Driving - What is it like out and about?
Before long, there's a Kona EV inbound, however for the time being, you have a decision of a 1.6 diesel (maintain a strategic distance from) and two unmistakably encouraging petrols. We'd go for the 1.0-liter three-chamber rather than the 1.6-liter four-pot. Both are turbocharged.
The previous gets a six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive, while the last gets a seven-speed double grip programmed and all-wheel drive. You can't blend and match, regardless of how pleasantly you ask your merchant.
The 1.6-liter motor is the main motor that can be combined with top 'Premium GT' trim, and it isn't accessible somewhere else in the range. So in the event that you need a programmed or all-wheel drive Kona, your solitary choice is to get one of those at almost £4,000 more than the following generally costly.
The Kona's inside doesn't exactly partition supposition like its outside. Similar to the design these days the infotainment screen – five, seven or eight inches relying upon spec – stands glad for the dashboard. All with the exception of base 'S' autos get CarPlay and Android Auto, and there's a discretionary head-up show (of the less expensive flip-up sort, not anticipated straight onto the screen like a few) that giving you can modify it sufficiently high for you to see, is well worth having.
The other frustration is raise situate space. You can situate one grown-up behind another in the Kona, and headroom is fine, however grown-ups won't be extremely agreeable back there for longer than a half hour or somewhere in the vicinity. On the off chance that they're tall or particularly long of leg, they'll battle to get settled. Not that anybody utilizes their secondary lounges any longer, personality.
At somewhere in the range of 334 and 361 liters, boot space is normal for the class. Be that as it may, in all zones this is greater, comfier and plusher than its in-house equal, the Kia Stonic.
Owning - Running expenses and unwavering quality
The most prevalent Kona in the UK will be the mid-spec SE with the 1.0-liter, three-barrel motor and FWD. It'll set you back around £17,500, and for that you get 17-inch amalgams, a back view camera and a 7-inch touchscreen with CarPlay and Android Auto.
Premium includes better haggles trim, alongside atmosphere control, better infotainment with a greater, 8-inch screen, keyless section and remote telephone charging for under £19K. Premium SE is a little finished £21K, and highlights all that in addition to the HUD, electric seats and all the more other than.
Premium GT is a definitive trim – you get the huge motor, all-wheel drive and programmed gearbox in addition to full LED headlights and a Safety Pack that gives auto crisis braking. It's £25K or something like that, and that is a great deal.
The 1.0-liter gives 54.3mpg and 117g/km with the 16-inch wheel. The 17s of the SE lower/raise this to 52.3mpg and 125g/km, yet as it doesn't change the expense band, it's extremely no trouble. The greater wheel/tire merits having in any case. In the interim, the 1.6-liter gives only 42.2mpg and 153g/km of CO2, so the primary year's duty charge is an astounding £500.
